2011 Campaign Leader

Peggy Ehora is the External Affairs Manager with Dominion East Ohio in Lima, where she has been employed for the past 21 years.  She was previously a public relations coordinator for Lima Memorial Hospital and staff writer for The Lima News and a proud long-time cashier for Clyde Evans supermarkets!

A native of Lima, Peggy is a graduate of Lima Senior High School and holds a bachelor of science degree in journalism from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University.

She is the immediate past board chair of the Lima Allen County Chamber of Commerce, and past president of the Lima City Board of Education.  She currently serves on the  boards of the United Way of Greater Lima, Downtown Lima, Inc. and the Lima Growth Association.  She is a founding member and president of the board of trustees for the Lima City Schools Foundation and was recently appointed to the new Public Defender’s Commission by the Allen County Commissioners. She is a member of the Lima Rotary Club.

Past honorary chair for the Girl Scouts annual cookie drive.

She is a 1992 graduate of the Allen Lima Leadership program and was its Alumni of the Year in 1996.  Named of one of 12 Volunteers of the Year for Dominion in 2010.

She and her husband Nick have two sons, Matt and Alex.
