Tiffany
Tiffany Robinson first received services from Children’s Developmental Center when she was seven months old. Doctors painted a very bleak picture for her future. Defying all odds - with therapies and treatments funded by the community, Tiffany began to progress. First to sit up. Shortly after, she began to crawl. The therapy she received made all the difference in the life she leads today. Today, Tiffany is an Elida graduate enrolled in a medical billing program at Apollo Career Center.

William
Growing up in Lima, William White thought of Bradfield Center as his second home. At the center he met with friends to play basketball, swim, attend dances and enjoy other activities. White said, “My mother knew I needed a safe place to hang out, with adults who cared about us. Today, Lima still needs places for kids to go. United Way knows that need exists today, more than ever.” White is a Lima Senior and Ohio State graduate who went on to play professional football for the Detroit Lions. Today, White is Director of Development at The Ohio State University.

Rashon
When teachers talked about Rashon Bates, they used terms like trouble maker, doesn’t try, and dishonest. He spent a lot of time in the principal’s office. When he was in the fifth grade, his teacher suggested Rashon become involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters. And the rest is history. Rashon was matched with a caring adult who spent time mentoring and guiding him in the right direction. Rashon is now a senior in high school with plans to mentor a younger student next year. A mentoring program funded by our community put Rashon’s life on track to a successful future.
