Donor Privacy Policy

United Way of Greater Lima (UWGL) respects the privacy of its donors and operates under this policy to honor your rights.

UWGL will never sell, trade or share its donor information with any organization. Welcome to United Way of Greater Lima. Please read below, where we detail our commitment to your privacy.

We collect donor information for internal purposes only. We do not share any of your personal or contact information with any outside organization. UWGL maintains a record of donors’ giving history and this information is kept on file for IRS purposes and is not available for public inspection.

UWGL publishes select recognition materials which lists donors’ names unless the donor has selected that his name not be published. Leadership pledge cards include a box for the donor to check if he/she wishes to remain anonymous. The annual Leadership Contributors’ booklet provides names and levels of giving without actual amount given, and includes individuals, corporations, and endowment contributors.
