Loyal Donors

Are you a loyal donor? Have you been giving to United Way (in any community) for many years?

UWGL has been asking for donor input about giving history for the last 2 years on its regular pledge form. Self-identification is critical. At the current time, over 1900 individuals have identified the first year they began contributing to United Way (estimate is fine, and a gift to any United Way area counts).

We have some exceptionally loyal donors. Harry Moyer tops the list with 64 years of giving. Mike Fitzgerald is next with 53 years. UWGL President Bev Prueter follows, with 50 years, beginning with her first job (and not counting those gifts in the Lima City Schools’ student campaigns (think Red Feather).

We want to reach out to Loyal Donors and are considering an annual reception and publication in Leadership Giving brochures as two ways to recognize Loyal Donors. We hope you will let us know about your giving record.

We know there are many more than 1900 Loyal Donors. Please tell us by clicking here to answer a few questions. Your information is confidential and will not be shared with others outside of United Way of Greater Lima. With your personal email address, we can always stay in touch with you, even if you change jobs.
